Frequently asked questions
Q: I can't make a certain session most weeks, can I still sign up?
A: Yes, you will receive the planned workout via email and you will be expected to complete it on your own if at all possible.
Q: What will the workouts be like?
A: Each workout will have a specific structure to allow you to improve your fitness. This is NOT just going out to ride or run. We will include tempo workouts, intervals, running strides, etc.
Q: I'm training for an Ironman distance race, will the workouts be appropriate to my goal race?
A: Yes, your workouts will be tailored to your race distance and date.
Q: Where will the workouts take place?
A: The swims will be at Cheyenne Mountain High School, the indoor trainer rides will be in the Ivywild neighborhood, the runs will mostly be on trails (and tracks) on the Southwest side of town.
Q: What workouts should I do on the days with no group training sessions?
A: I will be happy to advise you on your other workouts. Generally, you should do as much EASY running and biking as your life allows while still being able to complete the key group workouts. I would not recommend doing any additional hard bike and run training sessions.
